Two Ohio 4-H teens traveled recently to Ottawa, Canada to participate in the 2017 Global 4-H Network Summit. Emma Newell, age 19 of Fairfield County, and Clara Selle, age 20 of Delaware County, are both Ohio 4-H Teen Hall of Fame Inductees and Ohio 4-H Teen Leadership Council Officers. They were representing the United States of America and the nearly 7 million 4-H Youth worldwide while attending this summit, which was comprised of 70 different countries. They had the opportunity to network amongst industry leaders (including the Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau) and their peers, learn about the similarities and differences in programming all over the world, attend sessions to discuss pros and cons of various curriculum, share and exchange resources.
